- First of all, you will need to dig holes in the ground prepared for your rose cuttings. This, you can achieve with the help of a knitting needle.
- Select a spot for the hole and place the tip of a large knitting needle on it. With the help of a hammer, push the needle all the way into the ground, creating a deep, cylindrical hole.

- Now, make several small cuts along the stem of the rose cutting and cover them with the growth hormone powder.
- Immediately place the cutting into the hole.
- A rose stem needs to be pushed all the way into the hole, till the bottom of its flower head touches the ground.
- If the rose cutting has leaves, you need to push the stem down to the depth where at least five of the leaves are not in the ground.
- Place a glass jar over the cutting and water it on a regular basis. Within nine months (approx), the cutting will have roots and become a new baby rose bush
